Medical Conditions


If you have any medical conditions, ACE will need to individually assess your health in order to provide you with an accurate quotation. Whenever we do this, we prefer to provide a quotation that covers all your medical conditions, although there will be some circumstances when this is not possible. We will always make it clear when this is the case.

We assess your health over the telephone. Our assessments are dependent on you being able to tell us about all your conditions, including the name of the condition, and we may ask you questions about the number of medications you take, your medical history, and any surgery you may have had. For your protection and ours, all our calls are recorded.

If ACE can cover you, you can get a quotation and buy cover in the same call. The documentation you receive will include the details of any medical conditions you told us about, and the questions and answers we went through for each of those conditions.

To establish whether we will need to assess your health over the telephone, you will be asked to confirm certain statements, starting on our home page. If you can confirm all the statements relating to your health, you will not need to call us. If you cannot confirm certain statements, we will need to assess your health, and you will be taken to a page with full details of the number to call, and the process involved.
